Hi all, I was curious about the relationship between salt concentration of a solution and its specific heat capacity.
I've seen research (and made my own graph too) where the data shows there's a negative relationship where as the salt concentration increases specific heat capacity decreases.

I understand the reason why specific heat capacity decrease this, lots of research I saw has graphs that showed a (negative) linear relationship. Is there theory behind why it's negatively linear and not for example a decreasing curve?

I thought you have already posted the question here. If the reply given does not help, use the same thread to seek for further info by saying what you have already research on, tell us what papers have you read.

PS: I would merge the 2 threads.
