you could talk about the fact that tiny tim was going to do when scrooge was a selfish employer. good employer = saves lives. compare scrooge as an employer in stave 1 and stave 5, and see the effect it has on others and himself. people are happier in stave 5 ! could evidence this by pathetic fallacy etc. you could also talk about fezziwig as a good employer, and how he spread joy. fred too. good luck, hopefully this helps you get started.

-I'd use Fezziwig in your argument. Talk about how "There was nothing they wouldn't have cleared away" expressing that if you treat people well like Fezziwig treated his employees (Scrooge), they will do whatever they can to help you.
-You could also compare later on in that quote when it says "with old Fezzilwig looking on", Fezziwig looks onto his employees in a benevolent way showing him being a good employer as he cares for those working for him compared to Scrooge spying on Cratchit to see how much coal he's using and how hard he is working. This highlights Scrooge as a bad employer because he feels obligated to look so deceivingly onto his workers rather than just allowing them to get on with their business.
