Computer Science work placements and career?

Hey all


Im going to be doing coputer science from this year, hopefully. What type of careers have you guys gone into or hoping to go into? and what type of work placements have you gone on or been accepted on?

working for amstrad (sorry for the bad pun)

normally unis will have careers fairs and some run industrial years where you can get experience for 6 months or so in a company, which could also lead to a job. employers also love the experience so it would be good if your uni allows you to take one of those

Consultancy of some sort, not sure in what area. Would like to do physical and electronic security.

That's the standard. I've just finished my work placement in Microsoft, was great.
nice where was that? like what part of the country and what did you have to do?
