I always said "Chinese is my favourite" but I realised I didn't really like it. What I did like was oriental spare ribs, prawn toast, things which are basically "dim sum" - not proper meals, but little things. I think Indian is so much better because it's gorgeous in both meals (curry obviously ) and little things too, like bhajis. So what actual good chinese meals are there? I've had siu mais and noodles, which is damn good too. Anyone else agree with me that it's the little things that make people say they like Chinese food?

I had chinese last night, sweet and sour chicken with curry sauce and felt quite sick. I used to think Chinese was my favourite but now I think I don't really like it.

It's delicious, but is it really Chinese? I mean, I get that from my local chippy, I just see it as oily heaven.

The history of Chinese food is as long as China. Anything you mentioned above are just a tiny part of it. Every different place in China has its own taste of food. I can never say I know all Chinese food.

I haven't been to UK yet, but lots of friends on internet said that Chinese food in UK are not very attractive. Even if you're in China, it takes time to find out something really delicious, but it just for someone like me, who eat Chinese food for more than twenty years.

You can't, thus the ' '. Dishes are often made with tofu and other alternatives but labelled on menus as 'Vegetarian duck' etc.
