Is your immune system trying to flush something out, be grateful it is working. Major **** happens if it doesn't!

I find hot showers help, rest if you cn, wrap up outside if you don't already now its colder out there,.its more about letting your body do it by itself unfortantely.

Right now I’m in the kitchen inhaling the fumes of boiling salt water. Am I medieval?

I have lemon and honey and like you inhale steam. It helps. I have a head cold and feeling really unwell too. Going to bed early also helps. I am off shortly as I need to wake up early. Hope you feel better soon.

You can get a decongestant spray (containing oxymetazoline) from any supermarket or chemist for a couple of quid. Works really well and lasts for a few hours.

Glad you are feeling better today though
