I asked my teacher about doing more than 9 GCSEs as I feel confident and want a challenge. He said I need to pay £200, to register to do another GCSE then learn the subject outside of school. Do I have to teach myself a entire subject? Any past students please help

Curious how a teacher would know how much it cost and where he got £200 as a figure from, but that's irrelevant: 9 GCSEs is plenty. Concentrate on getting straight 9s rather than doing an extra subject.

9 gcses is fine, quality over quantity in my opinion. just work hard with the subjects you've got.
