My sister and brother are both in Uni and they have recieved their results. My sister got her results late June and my brother, 2 days ago! I think it depends on what year you are in along your course or what course you are doing.

If you took the IB, I'm pretty sure they were sent on Sunday when you got them, so I think you guys get the unconditional before others.

Universities recieve your results around about the Sunday before the Thursday that we get out results. This gives them enough time to make decisions on us by Wednesday, when all the Unconditionals and Unsucessfuls are loaded onto the Track system.

You can call the Uni's on results day if you don't get in, as they may decide to still offer you a place. They will have already looked at your situation though so there is a chance they still wont take you.

Unis get Alevel results a couple of days before (ie the same week they come out)
don't bother trying to find out before hand, it wont make a good impression on them wasting their time :P
