E = FL/Ae => e = FL/AE = k(FL/D^2)
E = same modulus for bars of same material
A ∝ D^2 (Diameter D) with k = total constant

eA= k(wl/d^2), eB = k(2wl/4d^2), eC = k(2wl/4d^2),
eD= k(6wl/9d^2) so A extends most.
