But I am so confused about Core 1, Core 2, Core 3 and Core 4 like what do they mean because I am doing Pure???

This is old spec. Core 1 and Core 2 in old spec roughly correspond to Year 1 Pure in new spec but there are significant differences plus the questions are harder on average in new spec.
