Hey there,

I'm currently in the process of applying for PhDs (non Oxbridge) for a 2020 entry. Thought it would be good to discuss with people who are on the same boat.

I have received an interview at a university for SenSS ESRC funding. I would greatly appreciate any tips people may have for this. The interview is for my own proposal, in the field of law. As someone who is a fresh masters graduate, I can't say i'm extremely confident about my own proposal/the whole process either so i'm definitely scared about the interview. Still grateful to have got an interview though.

Tbh, I am more interested in advertised projects, rather than my own idea. But I'm hardly seeing any being advertised in law and politics (hopefully something will come up soon). I've applied for 2 or 3 anyway, in the UK and other parts of Europe. I'm a home student btw.

Feel free to share your PhD application worries and queries!
