I got my braces removed and the orthodontist didn't give me retainers. I called to confirm but the receptionist said that I have been taken of the list because my course is complete. What if my teeth move out of place?

Did they put a wire on the back of your teeth? Sometimes they do that instead of a removable retainer

They dont always issue retainers.
When I had my braces removed some years ago, they said a retainer was not necessary. And as far as I can tell my teeth are still perfect.

Well that's standard anyway.
You should visit your dentist every six months. The only other course of action open to you is to go private, but that would be quite expensive.

go to a private dentist and get retainers, I think it will cost you around 500. (I am not sure tho about the prices). But I am sure that you have to have retainers, all the people that I know had retainers.
