I hate cooking with chocolate, it is so much effort.

The basic flapjack recipe is a great foundation for many different combinations of things. That could be, fruits, nuts, seeds, spices, chocolate, marshmallow, etc. You can even change what sugar source you use whether it be honey, treacle, maple syrup, condensed milk etc.

The possibilities are endless.

The recipe I used at the time didn't produce a rich chocolate cake, I was using cheap ingredients and the product itself was...well... a massive disappointment.

Once every three weeks normally, I avoid doing cakes because they are a lot of washing up and I am lazy.
