For a bit of context, I’m in Y11 doing AQA GCSE Music, I was originally predicted a grade 7 but has just gone down to a 6. I need to be predicted all 8s and 9s if I want to take 4 Alevels, which I really do, so I need to get my music grade up for mocks in 2 weeks!! The problem is, I don’t know how to revise it effectively because none of the information stays in my head and nothing I compose sounds good enough. My performance is fine. Theory is my priority - how do you guys revise the theory and set texts? Do you have any advice for me? If you can help me it would be much appreciated xxxxxxx

YouTube videos for all of the set works, and flash cards for all the vocabulary. I aced my exam and my performance, the only thing that brought me down was my composition so I would recommend working on what you do the worst. But constantly be revising your key terminology and all the main stuff in the set works and you’ll be fine.
