the tories needed to do it as some point to clear up their internal divides and to stop the rise of UKIP, whether people like the result or not is a different matter

Since I have opposed referendums since the 2014 Scottish referendum the answer is no. I believe in representative democracy and as such if you want something you should join a party, elect a leader who supports that position and vote for them in a general election,

That said, we can’t ignore the referendum and it’s result must be honoured.
