I am currently in my first year of A levels. I chose Bio, Chem and applied general business and would love to go in to optometry. My intention was to do A level Business and not a BTEC. However due to lack of explanation from teachers I stayed in the class only to realise today that it was not an A level rather a BTEC. As a result I may not be able to change course, however if all goes well then they may allow it but i'm going to have to catch up on a lot 😅. Does this decrease my chance of letting me do optometry? or even getting in to uni at all (though that is a stretch). Thank you.

What I would do is go and search up Universities and see their entry requirements. You still may be able to to optometry.
