Being forced to do foundation

So I came to the realisation that I’m doing foundation french and science. I want to do higher.

How do I do foundation? I asked the teacher but she just tried to make me feel better about the fact I’m bad
talk to them again, ask your subject head or head, or if all else fails do it privately?

They don't have to make a final decision until April of Year 11. Work hard to get results that justify that putting you in for Higher Tier would be the better choice.

You can't be entered for Foundation Tier and Higher Tier in the same subject so this would not work.
maths at uni is completely different
