What percentage do I need for a 2:1?

Hi I am a final year business and management student and I was wondering what percentage/grade I would need in final year to get a 2:1 overall. I’ve listed my other grades below:

2nd year: 51.9
Placement year: 59.8

If someone could help thanks
Depends how your years are weighted, check your course handbook.
It varies at every university. You haven't given anywhere near enough information.

How are your years weighted, for example? Are they all worth 1/3? Or is third year worth more?

Sorry i forgot to include weighting

2nd year is worth 15%
Placement year is 10%
Final year is worth 75%
Presuming you need to get 60% overall for a 2:1, I think you will need 61.65% in final year.

Bear in mind, I'm a history student - I would have thought studying management would surely prepare you to work out some basic percentages?
You need 61.65% for exactly 60%. Most unis will award everyone who gets 59.5%+ a 2:1
Anyhow, for future reference, this is how you calculate it:

Let y = what you need to get this year

Second year: 0.15 x 51.9 = 7.785

Placement year: 0.1 x 59.8 = 5.98
Third year: 0.75 x y = 0.75y

Overall: 60 - 7.785 - 5.98 = 0.75y
46.235 = 0.75y ===> y = 46.235/0.75 = 61.65%
