Ranked in Dentistry?

When you finish the degree, do you get a 2.1/2.2 etc or is it pass/fail? And are you ranked based on your results?

So it wouldn't matter if you received a higher result than a fellow student, the opportunities would still be the same?

there are no 3rd, 2:2, 2:1, first rankings so no one would even know

Some universities offer the BDS/BChD with 'Honours' depending on the university it might show whom has scored consistently high in their degree compared to their colleagues that don't have said Honours.

In terms of job opportunities, like most health professional degrees, it doesn't mean anything.

If you wish to apply for another degree e.g. Graduate Medicine to pursue MaxFax, then your uni grades will matter because the university would want to see your transcript
