I hate both  (I prefer Maths out of the two though, as it just seems to make more sense)

It's because they're afraid of Imperial College.

A lot of the Maths takers in my school wanted to go onto do science subjects at university which Math lends itself well to regardless of the science they are doing. Whereas Physics is just ... Physics.

I've never understood the core reason? Maths and physics both require the same type of thinking yet all the potential physicists seem to be male.

Some outside of the generalisation hate both.

Thats such a generalisation :p:

I hate both, I'm just good at math.
i hate both :s-smilie: they both give me nightmares

All girls hate physics. All girls love maths.

Where's the sense in that then?
Bit of a generalisation. Although, saying that, i can't think of any girls i know that like both   .

I hate both, but I prefer physics over maths. Preferred, I should say, as I haven't done either for over two years.
Okay...I fit that, but I have a friend who loves both and she's female (lol).

I think it has something to do with Primary school and pushing toy cars down various ramps...Every single time we had a science lesson...
I preferred the physics...

Now I don't feel like a real girl.

Boo.

I don't think you'll ever get a core reason to a generalisation.

i think its a deep rooted psychological thing also, i used to hate maths because my handwriting was poor and i was a borderline dyslexic (somehow?) and my teacher just used to constantly shout at me whenever i couldnt write the number 8 or something. stupid bitch
