I called the CPE representative at City on this subject a few weeks ago. Converting a GDL to an LLB requires another year or two of part time study. I can't remember which :frown:.
You probably should not take the LLB conversion at the same time as the GDL. The GDL alone is an accellerated program.
Here is the LLB conversion degree's program administrator email. She should have your answers.

Ah right thanks! Presumably part time means you'd have to take holidays off from your job afterwards? Is it not the sort of thing you can complete online in the evenings/weekends from a distance?

Part time means that you would go to school probably in the evenings after work. So you would do a full time job, or an internship, while at the same time doing school. You do not need to take holidays off from work.

I do not know if you can complete the classes by distance education. I believe you will have to be directly in the class though.

Hi, investigating this topic again. Do you think it'd be possible to complete this course in the evenings while completing a training contract?

Call the recruiters at City Uni. They're pretty informative. They'll get you in the know.

Why do you want the LLB so much? It will be worth next-to-nothing and will add nothing to your CV that the GDL doesn't already add.
