I'm not sure about History or Philosophy and Ethics, but Alice Preece on Youtube has done a few videos on A Level English Language. They helped me pass English

Mainly make sure your notes are tip top, find as many resources as you are going though the course and reference them for later dates. The likes of using youtube is great, there are loads of videos to help explain things you may not understand in other words. Most of all just continuously revisit your work and talk through things with friends. Teaching the work is a great way to revise as to teach you have to understand it with a depth to process and explain it to peers
