I have this maths teacher. He’s in his 20’s and new to the school as of this year. I have to admit I like him a bit but I would never act on my feelings and emotions.

My friends in the same class as me have said he likes me but I honestly don’t know. Here are some examples of what he does.

- He will always put a mint or gum in before going to me

- If I need help he will sit beside me, pretty close.

- He comes close enough to feel his breath on my cheek

- He’ll take my pen off me in a way that he has to gently touch my hand.

- When he writes on my book he’ll bring his hand close enough to almost touch me.

- He blushes

- Always says how good I am as always

- When he makes jokes he will look at me to try making me smile

- He always looks at me and when I look back we both just stare at each other for a bit. Even when people call for him he zoned out for a bit and smiles at me

- I was first to go into a class before and he was staring at me. I had a confused look and his reply was “I’m just looking at you, am I not allowed to do that.” While smiling and smirking a bit.

- Whenever he sees me outside of class he stops talking to the teachers and will say hey to me. Not my mates that our in the same class as me.

- He lets me talk when nobody else is allowed too

I need advice

All (well the vast majority) teacher crushes will result in nothing. This is very unlikely to be different.

Move on, he's just nice. Don't put him in a different position.

Yes I am trying to move on but whenever I try he does something else. If I even mention a boy he’ll try doing something flirty

Well if he tries anything, he will have to quit his job and potentially has his teacher career ended. It's not going to end well for him to move things forward.

Stay being his student, and meet up with other people (I mean students!).

Ha don’t worry I knew what you meant. I’ll find people my age don’t worry, I’m not ever gonna try anything with him, even if he tries something with me as I understand he cannot loose his job over something like this
