Abortion on demand for any reason up to point of birth. By far the most radical abortion law in the civilised world, other than the proposals of some US Democrats who talk about post-birth abortion.

Is there any sense in which this isn’t pure, unadulterated Communist evil?

Let’s be clear - there are no “bag of cells” arguments. This is a full term viable baby about to be born and Labour say that on demand you can stick a needle in its head, pump it full of poison, dismember it and throw it away.

For any reason.

You could equally say that not being vegetarian also makes you pro-death. Most pro-choice people simply do not consider early stages of development to be a human life. I am unsure whether the post about Labour's alleged proposition is true, but if it is I do strongly disagree with despite being pro-choice myself. I personally think abortion should be legal but with tighter regulation that it has now.

Not sure I believe this, I don't think they'd be that stupid as to propose something so controversial.

Why?
If someone wants an abortion, they're not going to wait until a week before the birth to get it. They'll get it very early. If two parents-to-be want a kid and are happy with the pregnancy, they won't get an abortion. People who need abortions a few weeks before birth have encountered some kind of problem. They're not simply doing it because they've "changed their mind" because they've had over 8 months to "change their mind". Something must have happened that would require them to get an abortion, and something that would require an abortion that late in the pregnancy would be a very big thing. They're not simply doing it because they feel like it.

I would be if it wasn't for any reason.
If such a thing were to be done I think it should be reserved strictly for medical emergencies or possibly rape cases imo.

All of this is you guessing motives of people, and you are missing the point. Late term abortion is legal at the moment if there is a medical purpose. Any change would be for a non-medical purpose.

Nice bait.

Labour Manifesto p48
Well that's a lie.

Page 48 is as follows

Refuge Fund, ensure financial stability
for rape crisis centres and reintroduce
a Domestic Abuse Bill.
We will improve the safety of the
family court system for domestic
violence victims and prohibit their
cross-examination by their abuser.
We will introduce protections for victims
of so-called revenge porn. Labour will
introduce a no-fault divorce procedure.
We will uphold women’s reproductive
rights and decriminalise abortions.
We will establish public inquiries
into historical injustices including
blacklisting and Orgreave, and ensure
the second phase of the Grenfell
Inquiry has the confidence of all
those affected, especially the bereaved
families and survivors. We will also
consider a public inquiry in the case
of Zane Gbangbola.
We will require judicial warrants for
undercover operations and retain the
Mitting Inquiry into undercover policing.
We will release all papers on the
Shrewsbury 24 trials and 37 Cammell
Laird shipyard workers and introduce
a Public Accountability Bill. We will
ensure fair compensation for the
victims of contaminated blood
products across the UK
