Binomial distribution and normal approximation -are my answers correct ?

If it helps, for:

- Question 5, I obtain answer c (0.4562),

- Question 6, I obtain answer e (0.316),

- Question 17, I obtain answer c (0.703).

Does this help?

I calculated the prob of getting 0,1,2, and 3 balls then I did 1- ans

(for 0 white balls its 7/10 to the power of 15
for 2 its 3/10 squared * 7/10 ^13 *15C2 etc

and I added all the prob)

I thought they wanted you to use the normal approximation?

Oh
The 1st 2 questions yes
But the exam is a stats exam not a normal approximation test so I can use whatever I want. I just titled it binomial distribution and normal approximation because of the 1st two questions
