Seems a good idea to have our own thread to discuss BMAT and all things biomedical science.

Oxford, Edinburgh, Bristol, Durham (Biological science), St Andrews (biochemistry)....the last 2 because you can take a biomed route. Achieved grades A*AA (biology, chemistry, maths) and 11A*GCSE. BMAT was 6.5, 4.6, 3.5A.

So far, Bristol have offered me a place. Really hoping I get some more.

Predicted grades of A*A*A (biology, chemistry & English lit) + A* in EPQ
GCSEs 10A*

Do you guys think that I'll get an interview from Oxford? I'm worried as I didn't do GCSE and I probably need a higher BMAT score to compensate that
I know I've asked this several times, I'm just worried sorry for being annoying!

Your scores and predictions look great, but who knows how they decide. If you don't have GCSE's and you need a higher BMAT to compensate...it looks like you've got that. Perhaps they look at personal statements too? Oxford biomed is incredibly competitive because they only have very few places...so it's all tough. All you can do is cross your fingers and wait..(until when I don't know)!

I’m pretty sure brasenose admissions said it would most likely be this week? Also last year they released interview invitations 5 days after the bmat scores were released. Might be different this year though.
