For the past year I have had my sights set on studying medicine however now I’m reconsidering it and would also love to apply to do history (and later specialise in history of medicine). The problem is I only write one personal statement. How do I write it to appeal to both subjects and not repel both of them?

Submit your medicine personal statement on UCAS and contact the unis you’re applying to for history and see if they’d let you email them a separate history personal statement.

If you’re talking about the current 2020 cycle, I’m afraid it’d be too late to apply for medicine.
