I love wearing anklets, particularly my thin gold ankle chain. I work as a legal secretary and usually wear one most days, often under tights/nylons. I've never thought they were that noticeable, but a friend of mine commented on it recently as being a "bit gaudy" which saddened me a bit. My style is otherwise quite conservative, gold earrings, pencil skirts, blouses and heels in fairly regular colours. What do you guys think, is this appropriate?
