So ik this is quite dumb of me but because I am doing a non lab based project for my dissertation I didn't know we had a methods section until my supervisor told me to email it to her. How would I do that because I haven't even done any experiments. Also other people not doing lab just said results they didn't say anything about methods section?
Also im too scared to ask my supervisor about it so any help please

Hey,

I know you mentioned you don't want to ask your supervisor but I would try to at least get an idea for what they are looking for in this section to ensure you complete the correct work.

For my methodology section (and I too didn't do a lab experiment) I looked the following sections:

Research Design
Data Collection Method - (eg. In person or online)
Questionnaire Design (This is how I collected my data)
Sampling Method (Who took the questionnaire)
Analysis of Data Procedure (How I analysed the data)
Ethical Considerations

I hope this helps and relates in some way to your dissertation.

Best of luck,
Tom
