Dentistry work experience and volunteering

If I do 6 months of work experience one hour a week and then do a week of experience at somewhere else in the summer holidays is that enough? And if I were to do an hour a week at a care home for volunteering is that good enough?

I would say that is more than enough, universities know how hard it can be to get work experience and some universities want a minimum of 3 days and very few even say that it is not a requirement.
