Help

Anyone know any java teachers in Leicester that do private tuition or does anyone know how to code in java and can explain what everything does in detail? I’m new to coding.
There are loads of really good free resources on the internet which are great for explaining the basics of Java and walking you through it, so I would recommend trying those first and see how far you get, that'll save you quite a lot of money from a private tutor - programming is a really good topic for self-teaching, since a huge part of it is really all about figuring out how to solve problems, and you can find out so much just from Google.

Here's a couple of good free courses which do a good job of explaining all the most important parts of Java:

And a really good playlist here for Java which explains a lot of the language and its syntax; there are a lot of video walkthroughs showing how to use Java to make a few different kinds of apps, so it's worth following through all of these:

Also, one of the most important programming sites on the internet is StackOverflow - either for asking questions, or better still, just for looking for questions which already have good answers - chances are while you're still new to coding that anything you get stuck with will have been asked by loads of other people before, so there's a lot of good answers here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/java?tab=Votes
