This is a really dumb question but I am trying to figure out if I am left wing or right wing??
These are my thoughts on a few different topics that are most important to me-
Environment- I support the use of genetically modified crops. I believe that fox hunting should be banned.
Foreign policy- I think the govt. should increase funding on foreign aid. The UK should provide food and warm clothes to civilians in war-trodden countries but generally keep their noses out of foreign conflicts.
Immigration- The UK should increase the amount of temporary work visas given to highly skilled immigrants. The UK should decrease the university tuition fee in STEM degrees for foreign students.

You sound more left wing. (Giving money/aid to civilians in countries with conflict, decreasing tuition fees for foreign students, work visas for immigrants (though many right wing people would agree with only “highly skilled” as u said).

However views other things like amount of tax paid depending on salary, amount of benefits given and who should receive them etc would probably be more defining of being “right wing” or “left wing”.

It's hard to tell from what you've said.

Environment - right?
Fox hunting - left?
Foreign policy - left?
Immigration - centre?
Tuition fees - centre?

I recommend taking this test:

https://www.politicalcompass.org/

It's the best one out there.

You are left wing and likely to favour left-leaning policies.

Typical Party affiliation:

1. Labour Party.
2. Greens.

But I thought the green party didn't support the use of GM crops?

I think their immigration and foreign policies are similar to yours.

The big indication is the Labour Party.

Well you have only given a few examples of what you believe in but from what I have garnered you seem pretty far left.

Now you may hold some right wing views, but very few people agree 100% with every policy of their party (I myself am a Conservative but disagree with many Conservative policies).
