I'm currently in 2nd year and was wondering how much I would lose if I dropped out of uni now or after January. Basically I have been having a lot of problems with my course and overall just not enjoying it. I currently do Neuroscience and Psychology but would have much rather preferred to have done straight Psychology at the moment. I also really am not enjoying the uni especially this year. I only chose it as it was the only one my mum would take me to see and she had pretty much picked it herself. I just feel horrible at the moment and don't know what to do. My marks have been horrible in neuroscience and when I ask for support or help I get told to get on with it, it's just how the uni does it.

Can you not transfer to a straight psychology course at your current uni?

You only get the option to do so in the first three weeks so I have passed that time period now. I have emailed to find out if it would be possible to leave and come back to straight psychology next year though. I just feel like I am at such a loss and that time is escaping me. I wouldn't want to do first-year again and start from the beginning but feel that may be the only option I get unless I can start from the second year
