So I have two options at the moment.

1) 5 random girls who need a 6th person. I met 3 of them once, they seem nice and the house is secured.. all i need to do is sign a contract.

2) One current flat mate who i know, but not too well but we get along. And his engineering friend, and that friend's flat mates who are girls. Met all of them and seem really nice. But no house secured, booked viewings but it could fall through/one of them drop out of it.

Which one would you do?? HELP need to decide today!

I would personally be risky and go for the second option. If you don't feel comfortable then go with the first.

Out of interest, when is moving in date for second year? Considering its November, I'm assuming its for next July-September move in? Given that, I would say number 2 isn't that risky, plenty of time to find a place.
