I'm debating whether to go part time (after 1st year) for years 2&3, but don't want to live at home due to travel from my parents house (it takes about an hour/hour & a half on bus, I can't drive) so can't do that, and they're highly irritating. im thinking of doing part time because of my deteriorated mental health. but I don't know how I'd afford housing... help!

I think it's crucial to consider how going part-time will benefit you. If it will reduce stress and make studying easier, then great. If however it will create more problems than it solves, then it might not be the best course of action.

What do you plan to do during the times you aren't studying? Is working alongside studying a valid option for you (to help with your living costs)?
