Is there a minimum age for buying condoms?

If you worked in Tesco and a 9yr old boy bought a box of Durex Featherlite, 2 Push Pops and a curly wurly at your checkout, would he be allowed to legally buy them, and would you want to serve him?

Umm ... I don't know. I always wondered this... You can just get them free if you're under 16 though, I thought? From like a clinic or perhaps the school nurse :p:

there is no minimum age, but i think i'd be a little freaked out if that 9 year old came into my shop :|
It's strange but there's no actual legal age, as far as I'm aware. I bought some at about 14/15...unfortunately I looked about 17 at that age and they were for a friend anyway

no minimum age, would seem to defeat the object given all the sex that is apparantly going on with those under the age of consent.

it is legal to buy them at any age. could say its a little iffy from a social view though!

i wouldnt want to serve him simply because i would either completly laugh at him or cry with jealousy.

Of course there isn't. Why risk underage pregnancies by preventing minors from buying protection?
Reply 11
I think that would be perfectly legal, although a little odd.

I wouldn't want to serve him, but I'm pretty sure there's no law against it...
