F1/J1 US Visa Proof of Funds
I'm hoping to study abroad in the US for the 20/21 academic year and I've been looking into visas.
One thing I'm concerned about is the proof of funds. I've made a spreadsheet of what my expected income and expenditure would be and I'm confident I'd be able to afford it. However, a large portion of my income is my student loan and I'm not sure I could use that as proof of funds judging by what I've read online as it's not "liquid" (it's paid in installments throughout the year and I don't have it in cash at this moment)
Anyone who's gone through the process before, can I use my student loan as proof I have funds?
