So im making notes.
I am writing questions to test myself. Do i need to know the subject before hand to do this?

Surely you will need to know the subject to allow you to formulate a question?

I am just skim reading my lecture notes and making the questions. Like im not memorising the answers as such if that makes sense.

Why wouldn't you try to memorise them?

Skim reading notes is pointless.

isn't that what revision is for? im jut going to forget everything im learning right now?

I really need advice tho as my grades haven't been great so far :/

Revision is used for learning your notes, not just briefly looking at it.

I assume you're at university? Do you not know your learning styles yet?

im in my fourth year. not really tbh. I want to aim for 70s this year.

So should i learn the stuff first, make notes then make questions? If so how do i learn the stuff?
