Hi guys, I’m 15 and since Tuesday I’ve suffered with flu like symptoms (haven’t been physically sick) just headaches, snotty nose, jelly legs however now I’m pretty much right as rain! I have still got a blocked nose( pretty much minor) but I have an op on Saturday (6 days), will I still be able to go through with this and should I phone the hospital and let them know?! Thanks!!! They will probably want you being well for 24-48hrs before doing it, and they certainly wouldn’t want you in hospital with active flu.

You would expect that by 6 days you’ll be feeling better, so just monitor things and give them a ring a day or so before if you’re still unwell.
