I don’t like my Uni friends Watch

Ok so I’m in first year and there’s about 40 people in my course, only 5 of us are girls and the rest are boys. That’s no issue but from day one I sat with the other girls and ever since it’s been hard to get away from them and make new friends. We’re almost finished first semester so there’s a lot of group work at the moment and I’m always in a group with the girls. Next September we’ll be split up as I’m picking different modules but how can I make it through until then or make new friends? I don’t like the other girls because they’re quite nasty and just not into the same things I am. Please send advice!!!!

If you're doing a course where the majority are boys, it's okay to talk to boys, after all, they share similar interests as you do to some extent? Try not to make it a gender thing, since making friends on a course like that makes it inevitable, and some of them might actually turn out nice.
