My A level predicted grades are AAA but I'm planning to apply to University of Manchester for BSc Computer Science with an Industrial experience which requires A*AA (A* in Maths). My other 4 universities only require AAA or lower so I'm thinking of taking a risk here. Is it worth giving a shot? I am an international student so i don't really know much in detail about how selections work but is it possible to get into the university in this case? Were there any cases where students got into the university with lower grades than what the university demanded? I have University of Nottingham as my other choice but i don't know which one to choose. Any idea?

Yed there are occasions where a uni will offer you a place with either aaa or the original asking of a*aa if your predicted isn't a*aa

Yes, it's worth applying to at least one aspirational choice.

Bear in mind if you receive an offer, it will likely be the standard A*AA though.
