Would I be considered mixed race?

I’m half turkish and half english, i don’t look very mixed race but my dad is quite dark. Not sure if that matters but I’ve always considered Turkish to be ethnic. Am I technically mixed race?

but turkey is in asia and turks are middle-eastern, so wouldn’t that mean european and turkish is mixed race...

I mean it’s a different ethnicity to English.
Turkish people are white, English people are white.... so i consider you fully white :smile:

My dad is brown, Turkey is in Asia, where do you get white from?
Every Turkish person i've met has white skin :confused: and i assume you have white skin...

I said white, i didnt say European :s-smilie: you can be Asian and white...

yes i would say so. Turks are from the turkic group and english are germanic.
you clearly say "mixed race" , i consider someone's race as the colour of their skin. The continent you are from does not always determine your race.

you are Turkish and English. Youre ethnically from 2 different continents, but you have 1 race.

It is. I'd say you are mixed race, as Turkish comes under Asian/middle eastern. But it probably won't come up in conversation as you say you look white.
