Can you get into a good uni without A*AA? Watch

For example, Birmingham, Bath, Derby, York. What grades have gotten people accepted that might be lower than the course says is a standard offer? What else can be done to strengthen a UCAS application?

yes you definitely can as there’s some unis that have a good course for certain degrees. Some people get lowered offers through contextual and some who got lower grades can go through clearing. It depends on what degree you want to do because some degrees have different things you can do to strength your application.

According to some on here unless you get A*AA you may as well give up on life.

Yes, you can. Many Oxbridge courses are AAA entry requirements and other top 10 and many top 20 places have AAB requirements.
