I am applying to Huddersfield University on a midwifery course and it says it requires GCSE grade C. I don’t have that, I did the exam three times and came out with D each time. I rang Huddersfield uni and a guy in the admissions dept said if I don’t have a C GCSE they will not even look at my application. I told him I’m studying for functional level 2 maths and taking my exam in January 2020 and he was quite rude and just said no there’s no point even putting midwifery for Huddersfield on your application they won’t even look at it no point. Has anyone seen this happen before where someone with functional was accepted when the course itself required the gcse? Thanks.
