Polish medical school graduate , internship in the UK?

I am currently a medical student in Poland but I am originally from Ireland , I hold both a UK and Irish passport , So I have 2 years left in my course but I hope to apply to do my internship in the UK when I finish,
I was wondering does anyone have some advice on how to apply to internships in the UK , any exams that are needed , difficulties getting these internships or maybe you have graduated from an EU country and have a similar journey or ambition ,
Any advice is really appreciated
