Can anyone give me some advice as to how I should go about structuring and answering an IRP about Frida Kahlo? Has anyone else done an artist? I think I saw on the exam board that you can zoom into 3 major works?

I'm doing a slightly different topic but if you're doing aqa then you can choose some subtitles to guide the conversation a bit. So you could choose a few of her works you like then also talk about her life and maybe her relationships e.g. with Diego Rivera. For the presentation give an overview of her life and maybe name some of her pieces then talk a bit about why you like her/why she is interesting or different.

Yes I had done what you had suggested but then there is literally not enough words and then my teacher is like 'yes, but what exactly are you trying to say' or 'but what's the message you are trying to deliver'. It is so difficult to find a focus with this and to make it evaluative as well, I just don't have a clue!

Maybe try and choose your overall title as something like her influence in hispanic society/the world of art/feminism?? then there is more of a focus to it and it might be a bit more driven
