uni and managing medication and health issues

hi guys!

I have a heart condition and i am on a number of meds as well as having to check my bloods weekly on a little machine.
as ill be living away from home does anyone know how easy it is to get my prescriptions from a pharmacy near the uni?
does anyone know about diability grants?

You'd need to register as a patient at your local GP near the university. They'd deal with your medication etc.

There's no explicit grants for disabled students - if your disability causes you to have extra costs then you should apply for PIP. If your disability affects your ability to study then you may be entitled to DSA, this may mean you are reimbursed for any additional costs your disability causes in relation to studying but it doesn't mean you get given additional money. It may also give you access to mentors, software, hardware (laptops, printers, dictaphones, etc.).
