Recurring dream

I keep having this recurring dream where I’m lying in bed at night and this figure (I believe it to be the outline of a man) walks around the side of my bed near to the window and raises his arm to hit me over the head, but just as his fist is about to collide with my face, I wake up in a sudden state of panic with really fast palpitations. Have you ever had a recurring dream and what does this mean?

this dream has interesting themes of (dis)trust and threat

I think it's to do with relationships, the people around you (usually family) - but please take this with a large pinch of salt

overall it's classified as an anxiety dream, probably brought on by the stress of having to achieve some good grades (now I am really guessing)
