this made me titter. then i remembered that i am a Tory

:spank:
you want a peaceful country where terrorists are not welcome and our military are respected and properly resourced. you want the will of the people to be respected; if they vote democratically for something ridiculous then that must be respected.
you want a country where minorities such as the Jews can live in peace and not be driven out by thugs with the covert blessing of the government.

You understand Economics and when you work your backside off starting up a small business, you get to keep more of the wealth you have created.

If you truly understood economics, you'd understand why failing to eliminate the deficit after nine years in power is nothing but grossly incompetent fiscal mismanagement. Therefore you would not vote Conservative.

Here's a tip if you ever want to make your small business a success: never reward failure.

Because Brexit is SO good for the economy, right?

It will be in the long run yes.
People say the conservatives are right-wing, but they're actually pretty left-wing in recent years so...maybe a version of Labour that isn't completely braindead?

I do have a successful small business thank you  And one that re-invests the profit it makes which has created more jobs. But sometimes you do need to speculate to accumulate of course..

If you understood economics, you'd understand that a deficit is not always 'grossly incompetent fiscal mismanagement'. Borrowing can often be a good option to stimulate demand, just look at the negative impact of austerity. Many countries have far higher debt-to-GDP ratios than the UK and operate just fine. There's never been a better time to borrow, as interest rates are so low.

Also, it's not like any other parties care about the deficit any more than the conservatives? Labour, libs, greens, all want to spend big.
