And what do they do? Do they take your words and 'tidy them up' a bit or something, by inclusion of extra words and rephrasing?

If you've already used it, then it's probably fine. But I'd really recommend you get out the habit of using them regularly.

I'd avoid them basically because they're unhelpful. You can't use them during a written examination, and all they are doing is stopping you improving your own writing by practicing - they're just doing it for you.
If you've already used it, then it's probably fine. But I'd really recommend you get out
