Hey guys!
I'm applying for Newcastle University and University of Birmingham for Politics and International Relations course as an international student. Which one would you reccomend considering the quality of teaching, reputation, and student life in general? Thanks so much!

Newcastle edges it for me.

Both strong Unis - Newcastle posts slightly higher student satisfaction stats - and nightlife is more extensive.

And it's nearer a beach...

Of course, you'd also be well advised to check out the specific Subject League Tables (Times, Guardian, CUG, etc.)

Reputation wise? Newcastle is virtually non existent compared to Bham.
